Q: What should we do if electromagnetic interference due to electromagnetic compatibility?
A: To avoid electromagnetic interference and/or problems caused by electromagnetic compatibility, turn off the device when the ¡°OFF RADIO¡± slogan is attached. For example, a hospital or other place where health care medical equipment is used. When you fly, you should also turn off the radio as required.

Q: Battery usage precautions?
A: Use original batteries supplied or approved by Inrico; 2. Q: What are the safety precautions during the use of the radio?
A: In a car with an airbag, do not place the radio in the range that may be involved when the airbag is deployed. How to choose radio

Q: What should we do before we purchase device?
A: Customers should apply local certificates about device, according to the documents including CE,FCC, ROSH test report provided by manufacture.

Q: What is the difference between Analog radio and digital radio
A: Traditional analog walkie-talkie is the voice, signaling, signal modulation in a continuous wave mode to the radio carrier frequency, and after amplification and other optimization of a communication mode. With the technology is mature, perfect system, the cost is relatively low.
Digital walkie-talkie is the digital voice signal to a specific digital coding and specific base band modulation form, and the use of digital signal processor to optimize the data communication mode. Compared with traditional analog walkie-talkie, it has obvious advantages such as strong anti-interference ability, high confidentiality, narrow bandwidth of channel and strong data transmission capability.

Q: How to choose between UHF and VHF, which transmission range is longer?

Q: How to use the scanning function of radio?
A: 1. Scanning function can be used to find the channel with signal in the preset frequency; 2. Press the scan button to turn the scan on or off.

Q: How long is the communication distance of radio?
A: The distance from conventional radio in an open area can be up to 8-10 km, and urban area can reach 3-5 km. In the case of tall buildings or high mountains, the distance will be relatively short. When there is network support, the radio  can be up to dozens of kilometers away. The network uses the relay station (also called base station or relay station) to automatically receive the transmitting signal from the radio,then amplify and transmit it. A: Please Check if the PTT button is jammed or not. Normally  there should be a slight "patter" when pressing the PTT.

Q: How should i do when the radio is unable to turn on or power off frequently
A: Please check the battery contacts properly on the radio .or if it is broken or twisted.

Q: When receiving ,the voice is very low,why?
A: Please check if the microhole of MIC is blocked (if so, please return the radio to your Inrico authorized dealer for maintenance)

Q: What should i do if the radio is dropped into the water?
A: Take the radio out of water as quick as possible and remove the battery as quick as possible. Swing the water out of radio and put the radio at the place where the ventilation is good so that the radio be dried quickly. At last but not least, return the radio for maintenance as early as possible.

Q: Why is the radio communication range shorter than before but the antenna sensitivity becomes poorer?
A: Please check the antenna and make sure it is a good one. Also please check the antenna socket is not damaged or loosened. If so, please return the radio for maintenance.

Q: After the radio is programmed ,there are noise from radio like¡±dudududu¡±,what is wrong?
A: This happens because the radio is wrongly programmed. This noise is an indication that the channel frequency programmed is out of the frequency range supported by this radio. Please check your setting or turn to a professional engineer for help.

Q: My raido could not scan the channel ,how should i do ?
A: This happens because when the radio is programmed, the channel is not included into the scan list. Or the whole channel scan function is not turned on for the radio. Please turn to a professional engineer to troubleshoot this problem.

Q: Why there are some other menber¡¯s voice in my frequency?
A: Please change the signal tone of CTCSS and must change the tone of all radios in the group, or apply for a change of frequency.

Q: Why couldn¡¯t i communicate with other group member ?
A: First, please verify that the channel frequency and the CTCSS you are using are the same as those of your group members. If the channel frequency and the CTCSS are the same, please check that your group members are within the radio coverage.

Q: After a period of time ,the radio works well ,but no sound from my earpiece.why?
A: The socket inside the radio has been damaged.please insert the socket again .if not , Please return the radio to your Inrico  authorized dealer for maintenance.

Q: After a period of time ,there is no sound from my earpiece.why?
A: Please change the signal tone of CTCSS and must change the tone of all radios in the group, or apply for a change of frequency.

Q: What is the Instruction for the battery use?
A: 1.Please use original or INRICO approved battery; 2. If metal conductors such as jewelry, keys or beads touch the bare electrode of the battery, all batteries may cause damage or personal injury. Be careful with batteries that have been charged, especially when you put them in your pocket, wallet, or other metal container; 3. Charging should be carried out in an environment of 5~40 °C. if beyond this temperature range, the battery life will be affected and the capacity may not be fill charged.

Q: How long is the battery use time?
A: The use time of full capacity battery is related to the use frequency and the environment. Normally, the use time of the radio is 8-12 hours after the radio is full charged. If you use the radio to receive and transmit with high frequency, the battery usage time may be less than 8 hours, but if the frequency is small, battery use time may be up to 16 hours or more.

Q: Is it useful to charge battery another hour after charging base light green with full capacity?
A: The radio Ni-MH / Ni-CD battery use charging base,the charge voltage is 8.7V.The regular Ni-MH / Ni-CD battery charger has the characteristics of first constant current, posterior constant voltage, and red light at the beginning of charging. The fast charging current is 0.6-0.8A, the full charge current is 200 mA. after filling then turn green light. Most chargers are still charged with tens of mA small current trickle to keep the battery energy. The charging voltage of Lithium battery is less than 8.4V. The end of charge voltage is determined by the charger and radio Lithium battery (with protective panel). The charging mode is mainly voltage detection, when the voltage is filled to the valve, The internal circuit of the charger or the switch valves of the radio Lithium battery protective panel will be turned off immediately, at that moment the charger turns green light, and it is useless to charge for another hour.

Q: It won't last long after the battery is full charged?
A: Battery life is up, please change the battery. (the normal charge and discharge times of Ni-MH battery are 300-400 times, and Lithium battery is more than 400 times)
